Egg hatching begins only after a successful sea recovery. Bring one Egg back before the waves close, confirm the base recognizes it, and then use the current placement, opening, or hatch prompt. The public evidence supports the Egg-to-Animal loop but does not establish universal hatch odds, timers, capacity, or button labels.
Confirm the Egg reached the base
Do not start by searching every menu. First verify the returned Egg exists in a usable state. Look for a carried object changing at the base boundary, an Egg counter, an inventory or collection entry, a placement spot, or a visible prompt. If nothing changed after the return, the issue may still be recovery rather than hatching.
Repeat a short route once if the transfer is unclear. Watch where the Egg state changes. If the same Egg reaches base and still creates no usable record, inspect any capacity or access message before collecting another.
Use the current hatch interaction
Approach the Egg or base-side hatch surface and follow the live prompt. Select the intended Egg if more than one is available. Read any cost, wait, slot, or confirmation shown by the current version. Do not assume hatching is free, instant, automatic, or limited in a particular way unless the interface says so.
Activate the control once and let the sequence finish. Avoid closing the panel or moving the Egg during the result animation. Record the displayed Animal name exactly. If the game shows rarity or another label, keep that label with the date; do not infer rarity from color alone.
Confirm the Animal result
A visible animation is weaker evidence than an account change. Open the Animal roster, collection, or player-base management surface. Find the new Animal and confirm whether it is owned, available to place, already active, or waiting for a free slot.
Use this result checklist:
- The displayed Animal name was readable.
- The roster or collection count changed.
- The new entry can be distinguished from an Animal already owned.
- Any placement or capacity condition is visible.
- The base state changes after the Animal is assigned.
- A later Cash comparison uses a known active roster.
If the Animal appears but produces no immediate Cash, do not call the hatch a failure. Placement and collection may be separate actions. Follow the How to Get Animals guide to connect ownership to active base use.
Keep hatch results honest
One Egg producing one Animal is one observation. It does not establish a drop table or probability. Even repeated results need a known Egg source, stable version, and enough samples before they support a useful estimate. Public sources currently do not provide a developer-issued odds table.
Record the Egg’s landmark description, check date, displayed Egg label if any, Animal result, and whether the Animal entered the roster. Leave probability blank. If later results differ, preserve each observation instead of selecting the most exciting outcome.
Community material currently names Goat, Capy Bar, Bat, and Snail, but it does not prove which Egg hatches each one or at what odds. Bat also has a separate community-corroborated code acquisition report. Keep that route distinct from hatching evidence.
Handle capacity and duplicate results
If the interface reports no free slot, read the available management choices before acting. Do not sell, remove, or replace an Animal based on an undated tier list. Compare current output and understand whether the action is reversible.
When a duplicate appears, confirm whether the game treats it as another roster entry, an automatic conversion, a stack, or another resource. The public description does not define duplicate behavior. Preserve the result message and account state.
Hatching troubleshooting
- Recovered Egg is not visible: return to the base boundary and inventory checks; the sea recovery may not have registered.
- Hatch prompt is missing: verify the correct Egg is in a usable state and inspect any displayed requirement.
- Interaction does nothing: activate once, wait for the response, then reopen the surface rather than spamming.
- Animation plays but roster is unchanged: check capacity, collection pages, duplicate handling, and the complete result message.
- Animal exists but earns no Cash: confirm it is placed or active at the base and measure a stable interval.
- A guide promises different odds: prefer the live interface and dated samples; no public official odds table is established.
Egg hatching FAQ
Where do I hatch an Egg?
Use the current base-side Egg, placement, opening, or hatch prompt after the recovery is recognized. Exact labels can change, so follow the live surface rather than a fixed button name.
How long does hatching take?
No reliable public source establishes a universal timer. Read the current prompt or progress display and keep any observed time tied to that server and date.
Can I choose the Animal?
Current public evidence does not establish a universal choice system or odds table. Record what the interface allows and the result it displays without assuming the shell guarantees a particular Animal.
What should I do after hatching?
Confirm the Animal appears in the roster, assign it through the base if required, and measure visible Cash with a known active roster. The Animals hub explains the comparison process.
Confidence: recovered Eggs leading into Animals is supported by current game-specific material and the official core loop. Exact controls, waits, slots, duplicates, and probabilities still require live verification.
